Emerging Technologies and their Impact

            Many technologies are evolving now a days which help users and organizations in various ways. Some of the emerging technologies are cloud computing, internet of things, social marketing, blockchain technology, machine learning, artificial intelligence and many more. These different technologies help the users in different ways for example internet of things is the technology which interconnects the devices and objects with sensors, network, and software connectivity and transmits the data over the cloud and then integrate with the software.

Blockchain technology is a process that is in the form of chain format which allows only authorized persons into it, and it is having a decentralized technique which helps in encrypting the data and allows the secure transactions without need of any third-party activities. Social media marketing is the process where the demands of the customers are satisfied by generating various products and services. Ravi & Kumar are describing that knowing about what the people are thinking about our products is very important because it helps us to maintain our business in a proper mannaer and produce the customer willing products and services in the market which satisifes the customer (Ravi & Kumar, 2021).

Artificial intelligence is the area of computer science which helps in making intelligent machines that will react same like human beings. Verma is explaining that artificial intelligence is nothing but creating a computer programs to solve the complex problem like humans solve the problems and it is the combination of engineering and science for making the machines to behave in a intelligent manner same like humans do (Verma, 2018).

What is Cloud Computing and how it emerged?

is a fast-growing technology, an easily available service that will be used on the internet as it provides many services to the users and organizations. Cloud provides various services to the users for creating one’s own application, it provides virtual resources, bandwidth, and many other services. is becoming an evolving technology which uses the internet and different servers to manage data and software. Cloud computing uses multiple processes like virtualization, web services, multiple tenancies etc., as multiple tenancy helps in creation of SaaS application, and it is useful in sharing the same software over multiple users.

Jamal & Khan is describing that virtualization offers abstracting the various free hardware access to the different virtual machines which use web services to communicate over the internet (Jamal & Khan, 2020). Cloud computing is very useful to the researchers to fulfill their requirements and exploring their research, deliver proper outcomes. Cloud provides different models to the users with various benefits as software as a service provides the license of different software’s to the users to utilize it over internet without installing any applications.

Platform as a service is mainly used by the developers to develop the different applications with reduces cost of software and hardware devices. Infrastructure as a service is useful because the user pays for the resource used. It offers a storage system, virtual server, hardware network to the user for achieving their requirements and fulfilling their needs over the network. Cloud computing is evolving in different sectors which helps the users and organizations to explore various resources which may help in gaining knowledge, handling various risks, and overcome them. These upcoming technologies had a great impact on the users, organizations, and different sectors. 

Service Models of Cloud Computing

Mainlythree different types of service models are there in cloud computing.The first one is Software as a Service (SaaS) which provides the services to the users or the organizations with access to the software that is organized by the cloud service provider. These organizations or the users utilize these services using the internet and any other browsers, there is no need to buy any storage devices or install any software.

The second one is the Platform as a Service (PaaS) provides useful hardware and software that allows user. To run, build, and manage the applications without maintaining any infrastructure related to that software development processes. Using the platform as a service helps the organizations or users to develop their own applications without worrying about the internal software or hardware and they will save their money. The third one is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is the service that provides networking and storage resources to the users.

This service is provided by an on demand. And pay-as-you-go process which means we payforthe service and how much we use it. This service allows the users to run their own applications. And maintain their data as it helps the users. Who think not invest and maintain their own data centers.Singh is describing about the three types of service. Models briefly as mentioned above each serive. Has the different work structure and these models help the users. Or the organizations to build their own applications by providing right ecosystem (Singh, 2024).

Benefits of Cloud Computing

There are many benefits of cloud computing. Such as saving time, money, flexibility, backup, and recovery, delivering new services, multiple sharing. We save our time using cloud because it provides all. The facilities no need to wait for any infrastructure. Setup, platform or another which helps the organization or the users to save their time accordingly. Cloud provides a pay-as-you-go process. That indicates we will pay. As much as we use the service of the cloud. And there will be no unnecessary payments. Which helps the organization, and the users save their money.Jumanis telling that flexibility of cloud. Helps the organization to use more resources. To satisfy their customers desires and cloud is ready to work. At any peak times with high storage and capacity servers (Juman, 2020).

Backup and recovery process is also very helpful. In this cloud as storing the data is easier. And backup or retrieving the data is much easier in cloud other than storing in any physical devices. Cloud services have the possibility of accessing through mobile which helps the users to access or work by sitting anywhere. Now a days mostly everyone uses mobile phones. Other than PC’s and laptops. So it is helpful to those users. And employees to work from their home using mobiles, which will be helpful in adopting the technology.

Challenges of Cloud Computing

The main challenge of cloud is privacy and security of data as many organizations are believing to save the data in their company sites because they are worried about backup of data, which are organizations sharing data, location of data, and who access data. These are the different questions raising in the mind of organizations and the users.Hajizadeh & Hajizadeh  is explaining that transmission of data is also becoming a problem because the cloud shares the encrypted data, but it takes time to decrypt that’s why most of the users are sharing the data without encryption in this case any attacker or hacker steals the data between sharing form client to server and server to client (Hajizadeh & Hajizadeh, 2020).

Another important challenge is malicious insiders. So,These are the employees of the organization. Who are appointed to work with cloud applications. Sometimes these people may steal the data. And covey this information to others.For money these kinds of activities are dangerous.So, And destroy company’s data and sensitive information. Having a proper and trusted professionals and employees is very important to the organization’s growth.

Moreover,what is cloud, different service models of the cloud, advantages,challenges and how to overcome these challenges are also discussed. So,We are not able to imagine the world. Without cloud technology as most of the organizations and the users are depending on different cloud services. It is important to learn about the cloud and its technologies because the future will be dependent on cloudtechnology. Studying the cloud and its services helps the users to save their money, time and gain proper knowledge.
