To achieve the marketing goals, and reach the customers’ needs one should select the right promotion of their products and such price,product, place, promotion efforts are called marketing mix. The price, product, place, promotion plays a major role in the marketing process as each one has its own identity. A product is a thing that can be in the form of goods or services which are sold or built to satisfy a singlecustomer or group of customers.

Price plays a major role in marketing because every customer chooses a low price based on the quality of the product. It also affects the production, demand for the goods,services, and profits of the company. There are different types of pricing methods like cost-plus pricing, promotional pricing, demand pricing, delivered pricing and others. Cost-plus pricing is the process of setting the price with respect to the actual material cost, labour cost is added and fixing the rate of the product. Demand pricing is the process of fixing the price of the product by determining the demand of the customer in the market.
