Social media marketing is about, techniques most importantly it follows social media sites, how to create awareness of a brand or product, promote the products, to affect the purchasing decision(Venkatraman, 2017). Traditional media is a part of social media marketing, and it’s preferred to the broad category of marketing and advertisement of products and services, we can advertise the brand, product, and service through print medium marketing, direct medium, marketing, television, and newspaper marketing.

            Present day without social media, it is very difficult to manage and imagine a single day without using and following social media like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Furthermore, this media provides a platform where we can connect the peers, and gather information, for entertainment and business, these are all the facilities we can use in this platform. Lastly, social media marketing is classified into three parts. So, those are Primitive social media, the Medieval Era, Golden Era.

It was the first website where users could log in with their IDs, and it was founded in the 1970s. And we can also use chat rooms for the users and the capacity to play online games.

This Primitive era is the first primary source that helped commercial online services also. In this Era, users will participatein discussions, and they can express their feelings, and users can execute file transfers. Medieval Era In this era this platform users will launch or join a chat. This application serves to transfer data between users. The main purpose of using this platform is to transfer documents and communication. This site permits to creation of profiles and login and connections between friends and families.

The final era is the Golden Era, the main purpose of this site, is that worldwide users can access the data of their interest. Present non-operating gaming sites are the most popular networking sites. These sites are related to other social networking sites. It genuinely grabs the attention of business organizations, through the sale of products and services, brand awareness, and marketing. Ex uses of Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram are marketing sites.Through these sites promoting their products, and destinations. Business markets must concentrate on their promotions on quick fading sites, like Friendster, Myspace, and Orkut, in the past lost their investments and time. Many brand organizations their ready to pay for advertising in social media marketing, it’s increasing g day by day 1%to 2% yearly. This indicates that some of the marketers will follow this technique next year. 70% of customers will follow, and to know the feedback about the product or service many users listen and learn about customers’ reviews. 65% of the customers are researching about products and services. Additionally, customers use this site to share their opinions on brands, products, and services. Furthermore, consumers will show a particular behavior to approach the brands and influence the brand organizations, administrators, and other consumers. So, on websites like Facebook and Instagram, we can contact and advertise brands, products, and services. Social dentification advises the customers to choose brands that they identify in the feedback or reviews. It is important note for business organizations to take care of their trademarks and copyrights when we are promoting the bands or products.

Furthermore, quick feedback on social media, and social networks, the managers should have aplanifa product will damage what they must do, and managers must have a quality to handle the customers. Lastly, in social media marketing, anybody can know the product information or feedback(Othman, et al., 2022). So, it is an open platform and everyone can pass the messages, anything like the positives and negatives of the product or brand and services.

            Lack of brand control in social media marketing, different sites are available, using these sites we can advertise or transfer the online content related to the product, and some legal settings to advertise the product through social media marketing. Company organizations must be aware of social media market research and announcements of laws not to reach legal borders. In this media directly or indirectly our product competes with other products or brands.

Threats and challenges of Social Media Marketing

These days organization owners are watching everything through social media marketing to know the reviews of their brands or products to compare other brands or products. And it creates a competitive challenge between company owner in the direction of their products or brands. Social media marketing allocates the time, related to social media activities, and you are in a pinch of time not able to highlight your efforts in social media marketing. Some company owners trust that they don’t want to spend time on their social media sites to confirm that they are developing an online presence.

And that is not sure. They don’t need to spend hours of the day, only in some difficult situations, they haveto allocate time to boost your company in social media. In social media marketing creating content every day will prove it’s a very challenging task for companies. This is another big challenge in social media marketing. The company must have a plan for how to maintain your feedback in your business. Through the feedback and reviews, they rectify their mistakes also. They have to imagine what to post, and how to interact with customers.

In addition, without privacy and security, we are unable to move in this media. Additionally, in this market, we are unable to check the quality of the product. Furthermore, only we must depend on reviews and feedback of the product or services. Company owners are responsible for monitoring both networks, reactions to comments, and answering questions related to products or services. Customers will expect these responses from the business organizations.
