Marketing, the 4 Principles of Marketing and It’s types

Marketing is the art of satisfying the consumer’s needs either by selling or buying. So,It is the basic element for business management, whether individual or organization, to create awareness among the people about their brands and develop an interest in their products. Today, the activity of marketing has become advanced and interesting by analyzing consumer needs, developing products according to their needs, and distributing them through logistics systems. The entire process is going systematically.So, Consumers are able to interact with the management directly, providing feedback about the product. People could purchase and exchange the product from online by communicating with management through many online platforms.

4 Ps of Marketing

The marketing strategy depends on these four main principles to develop the economic growth of the product. So,The four elements are essential for the business. They increase the efficiency and have a chance to buy the product by customers. E Jerome McCarthy introduced the concept of the 4 Ps in 1960. The 4 Ps are: product, price, place, and promotion (Forsey, 2021).

Product

If the customer wants to buy a product, he or she must be aware of the quality, brand, and design.So, Marketers must be conscious of the customer’s ideology before they develop a product. Offering the best product creates an impact on the consumer mindset.

Price

The marketing price is the charge or amount that the customer is willing to pay for the product.So, A change in price might result in a loss of interest on the product, and it may have a great impact on product growth. It is important to consider the customer’s mental barrier before fixing the price of the product.

Place

Product is produced to customers. So, the distribution location of the product should be convenient for the customers (Gautam, 2020).

Promotion

Promotion is the essential path to raising awareness of the product. It helps to snatch the attention of customers (Gautam, 2020).

Social media marketing

Social media marketing is an essential marketing technology that has trended recently. So,According to the research, in India, around 4.2 million people use the internet, and it is the second-largest online market country. The mechanism of social media is to grab the attention of people through online social platforms by promoting their products and goods. So,Social media is a two-way communication tool that permits the audience to share their thoughts about the product. It offers a number of ways for marketers to reach out to customers.

The mechanism is entirely different from traditional marketing. It helps to change theirhuman’s lifestyle for the modern world.So, Social media platforms provide relief to people and become their daily routine in their busy lifestyles. Digital marketing is also known as online-based digital marketing or online marketing. It is done using digital devices over the internet. Philip Kotler, who is the father of modern marketing, developed the term “digital marketing” in the early 1980s (Panda & Mishra, 2022). Businesses engage in digital marketing through two channels: business-to-business and business-to-consumer. Many digital marketing technologies include content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and affiliate marketing. The evolution of digital marketing from the early 2000’s is increasing rapidly all over the world.

People are using most of digital products for online shopping rather than visiting physical shops.With mobile phones, you can save time by making purchases anytime and anywhere yourself.

Digital marketing reaches a global audience dynamically and comparatively fast. In this digital world, most of the people spend their time using mobile phones, which is a better way to reach out to customers using digital marketing technology. Suppose a person is watching a video on mobile phone and all of a sudden, an advertisement displays on their screen.

Marketing Automation And Behavior Advertising

If they are interested, the person will click on the advertisement and search for the product.

Digital marketing has now become an advanced technology with new features. People using mobile phones now do it by sending SMS or MMS. Marketing automation and behavior advertising are the best features of digital marketing. They automate capturing your interests and showing results depending on your behavior on the internet, and they are effective processes with broad-ranging technology. Users must be aware of third-party cookies; sometimes they may result in a hack of your mobile to steal your information and lead to malware activities. Marketers at organizations should be proficient in digital marketing tactics to achieve the desired business growth rate (Panda & Mishra).
